Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the FOCUS Digital mobile application (“the App”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. License to use the App

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial reading of the magazine content we make available.

2. Content and intellectual property

Magazines, articles, images, logos, and other materials available through the App are the property of FOCUS Digital and/or its content partners and are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. Except for the personal use permitted above, you may not copy, redistribute, publish, sell, or create derivative works from the content without prior written permission from the rights holder.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the App or its servers;
• circumvent, disable, or tamper with any security or access-control features;
• use automated means to scrape, download, or redistribute content.

4. Availability and changes

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App or its content at any time without notice. We do not guarantee that the App or any particular edition will always be available.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

The App and all content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FOCUS Digital and its partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App.

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle information.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Aruba, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the competent courts of Aruba.
