The House unveils Gucci Lido, a new collection that pays homage to the enchanting allure of coastal living, drawing inspiration from the charming beach clubs or ‘lidos’ that adorn Italy’s storied coastlines. Conceived by Creative Director Sabato De Sarno and captured through the lens of Anthony Seklaoui, its campaign embodies a spirit of escapism, embracing the spontaneity, vibrancy, and joy synonymous with the season—a celebration of sun-kissed days and salty breezes. 

From sophisticated swimwear to resort wear, Gucci Lido offers a range of timeless pieces that blend luxury with comfort. Within the campaign, novel renditions of the House’s signature handbag lines take center stage. The iconic Gucci Jackie and GG Marmont bags are reimagined in straw effect raffia and canvas variations, exuding a laid-back charm that perfectly complements the summer aesthetic. Additionally, colorful GG canvas accessories, including the Gucci Luce and Moon Side bags, add a playful touch to the collection, while accessories with neon details add a modern twist to classic motifs.  

The essence of Gucci Lido comes to life through a series of in-store pop-ups in some of the world’s most famous resort destinations. From Porto Cervo and Capri to the Hamptons and Saint-Tropez, each location serves as the perfect backdrop to showcase the vibrant pieces in the collection. Here, travelers can immerse themselves in the world of Gucci Lido, discovering exclusive pieces and experiencing the House’s signature luxury firsthand. 

As part of the Gucci Lido experience, the House will also host a private event at Hotel Il Pellicano, an exclusive retreat nestled on the Tuscan coast. From May 24 to May 26, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a curated getaway that celebrates the art of Italian hospitality and the beauty of the Mediterranean landscape.
